Past, Present, and Future

I am not thinking about the past, present, and future. That is kind of the point of the post. This is something I learned with meditation and mindfulness.

“There is only one time we can literally do anything. It is in the present moment. -Me

I have heard the saying that depression is caused by thoughts of the past, and anxiety is caused by thoughts of the future. When I started practicing mindfulness, I realized how noisy it was in my head. As I practiced I learned to notice the thoughts coming up. Most of the thoughts were about the past and future. Once I started focusing on the present moment, was able to focus much more on what was in front of me.

Pondering this for a long time will make you more effective in life.
