Green Time

Make sure and spend some time outdoors in a quiet place each week, and focus on nothing in particular, dealing with whatever thoughts come to mind. Quiet time outdoors has been shown to have positive effect on your outlook. An ADHD brain tends to get a little overactive. This will help you to calm your mind. Try about an hour or two twice a week.

Mindfulness

Take five or ten minutes a couple times a day to just to observe your environment. What do you see? What do you hear? Another practical way of being mindful, is to take a routine task, like sending an email, and focus on every thought, and key stroke in writing the email. As a Christian I will often spend time intentionally praying and focusing on my prayer. This is really about taking a short time to practice focusing on something.
